A campus wide lock down has been lifted at Purdue University, where a gunman reportedly fired shots around noon, according to the school.
The electrical engineering building, where the alleged incident took place, remains closed.
Officials have not announced any injuries, but Journal and Courier reporter Justin Mack tweeted that he saw one person being taken away by ambulance for medical attention.
One suspect has been taken into custody, according to the school.
