I forget where I first saw this list, of his, True Professionals, and it may have been Hemingway, not sure. His True Professionals lived exemplary lives and were dedicated to their sport, and were generally exceptionally good at their sport. His list was small, as is mine. Their personal life must be beyond reproach, and they have to have exhibited a high quality of dedication in their athletic life.
