Why ....... would ANYONE, especially from the USA want to participate in the Winter Olympics. DON'T wear your USA uniform outside of the village. Guards will escort you around. But, don't worry, just concentrate on your event. And,, the government has made arrangements to "get you out" if things should happen to go wrong, but don't worry, just concentrate on your event.

What has the world come to?

Another Mall Shooting, riots somewhere, way below zero temperatures around the country, some food shortages, and, colder weather coming next week.

I have had many operations, appendices, kidney stones, three times, triple bi-pass, cyst on the inside of my color about two weeks, one week to get rid of the infection and then a week to recover, a Vagotomy, an out-patient hernia, that ended up with 24 incisions and a week in the hospital, and some others. A few years ago I had a cataract worked on. After that, I said it would be a "cold" day when I had another procedure of any kind. Next Monday, I am supposed to have my left eye cataract worked on, predictions are it may be out "coldest" day of the year. That is ironical.

"Till the Storm Passes By," by Vestal Goodman, has been running through my head for a week now, and it looks like it will continue for another week or so. Is the "end" being dangled in front of us, and we are too arrogant to see the signs. It is colder in Atlanta, Georgia than it is in Alaska .... Anyone?
