The state of the union ............

-9 in Newark, Ohio this morning, sitting here with the TV on, listening to "Easy Instrumentals" ... developing a sore throat, have two pair of socks on, one thermal, heavy sweatshirt, sweatpants, a Snuggie and another lite-weight blanket covering my legs. The sun is out, that helps. It is 71.6 here in the apartment, but that does not matter, I know how cold it is ...... and it is COLD.

No, I did not listen to the words of Obama last night, I rarely listen to him speak, and never for extended periods of time. I prefer listening to people who are interested in me and my problems, someone who actually has solutions to problems, is sincere, and genuinely interested. He has not even proven to my satisfaction that he is qualified for the position he is holding.

Opportunist comes to mind, charismatic enters the picture, his charisma got him elected, nothing else, he was groomed by someone, for some reason, for what is transpiring now, much of which, I think, we are unaware of. Proving ones identity happens often. I have a VALID Birth Certificate, a VALID high school diploma, a VALID DD-214 to show my time in the Navy, a VALID drivers license, a VALID Social Security Card, all genuine and all real. I doubt that he can say that, without smiling.

I realize, also, that he has writers who write the speech for him, after much deliberation and thought. Whatever he said, each point was calculated, each guest, was calculated, the entire evening from start to finish, was orchestrated, each word, each introduction, each comment, each camera angle and his expressions, were orchestrated, just like the New York Philharmonic. One has to wonder, actually, who conducted it.

One thing, I doubt, was ever mentioned, the true State of the Union .................... Executive Orders, how great a concept is that?

Take your pick.......
