Federal prosecutors said Davis was arrested Monday in Manhattan.
Prosecutors allege she sold drugs on several occasions to an FBI cooperating witness between January and March. She allegedly told the witness that she sometimes provided drugs to people at house parties.
In one text message to the witness, Davis allegedly said "If u run low let me kno!!! Ur the best!"
Davis, 38, once ran escort services and has claimed to have a "little black book" with more than 10,000 names, many of them famous. She has said she provided prostitutes to former Gov. Eliot Spitzer, who is now also running for comptroller, but that has never been proven.
Prosecutors said the pills she sold contained amphetamine, which is often referred to as "speed," zolpidem, which is used as a substitute for cocaine, and carisoprodol, a muscle relaxant often used in conjunction with painkillers and date-rape drugs.
he is charged with four counts of distributing and possessing with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
Her lawyer declined comment.
