Who is minding the store?

Why are we having an epidemic of forest fires, has it always been that way and we just didn't hear about it? They are everywhere out West. I just don't remember so many all at once. Makes one wonder?

Is anyone standing "Post" outside of the countries tent? My Dad, in WWI, stood "post" outside the tent of an officer named McArthur, not sure what his rank, I think Dad said he was a Major at that time, he went on to become a well known General. The point is, someone was always standing "post" and I wonder who is doing that in Washington at this time, not protecting a president who is on vacation and playing golf, but watching out over the country.

Not sure who it is, or where, or what, but I hope someone is "Standing Post" over this country.
