U.S. General Killed in Afghanistan Shooting
A man wearing an Afghan military uniform opened fire at a military training facility in Kabul on Tuesday, killing an American two-star general and wounding as many as 15 American soldiers, U.S. defense and military officials told NBC News.
The death toll among the victims could rise, officials said. According to the officials, U.S. and Afghan military officials were meeting at the Marshal Fahim National Defense University when a gunman sprayed the group with automatic weapons fire.
