The "Family Doctor" is a relic, a thing off the past, you will rarely be seen by the same physician twice. I ran into it recently. I HAD to see a doctor to get a prescription filled, which is EXTORTION in itself. The doctor I had seen for a couple of years, and who was getting paid by the hospital, as the majority of our doctors now are, well, she quit. She was replaced, temporarily, by a "retired" doctor, I knew of him, and did not want to see him. So, I called another doctors office, also owned by the hospital, and he could work me in ......in three months. Anyway, the first doctor, the old aged one, went ahead and approved the prescription, since I could not get it refilled for three months.
So, that's how I am, now, today, receiving inferior medical care, our SS income does not go nearly as far as it did, our rent keeps going up, food keeps going up, utilities go up, we pay more now for TV, internet and telephone, than we used to pay on our house payment. I no longer know who John Boehner is, or how he votes, or what party he is a member of.
All I know for certain, if you are young and starting out, go to work for the government, local, state, whatever, you will get the best hospitalization and retirement benefits that you can get. Get in to politics, at any level, work your way up, try to make it to congress, your Golden Years are guaranteed, anything else could fail.
