Silence is Golden .....

I am basking, and surrounded by an invisible hand, that has me comfortably cradled in a soft, warm hand .... I have the sound turned off on the TV, NO announcers, NO sideline experts, NO color commentators, just ..... SILENCE .... watching and enjoying the game ......... in SILENCE ............ more and more I am turning the sound OFF ......... and enjoying the games more ...............TRY IT, it works.

Did not watch the "Rape in the Shoe" today .... but the OSU team wore decals honoring the life of Maria Elizabeth Tiberi, the daughter of a local sports announcer who was killed in a tragic auto accident, Dom Tiberi. That was nice, at Otterbein, where he went to school, she was also honored with a moment of silence. Nice, such a tragic event. Really, how could you be proud of, and brag about, such a game?

Columbus TV and the OSU football staff was again attempting to classify the victory today, as hard fought, a tough win, perhaps an upset. Modesty is not a virtue thee. They should be ashamed of themselves for even scheduling such a team, and especially for running up the score that way. Let's all pray, that they lose some games this season, they deserve it ..............
