When, where and why did HEALTHCARE become such an enormous topic. I am 81, I don't remember in my younger days that it was such a dilemma. Maybe it was and I was not aware of. I remember many years ago, 30's and 40's, someone would come to Dad's office with a problem, he would take care of it, most would pay then, some he would cill and keep on account, but I was not aware of any problem.
Then, the war came along, we were more concerned about that. I do not remember by Dad's charges, but they were "reasonable," people could afford to pay "out of pocket." If it was an "industrial" accident, either the employer or the state payed it.
Now, it seems to be an "insurmountable" problem, Cost by doctors and hospitals are "sky high" for lack of a better word. Maybe we need more "healthcare" today than we did then. If you broke your arm, you went to the doctor, then to the hospital, a cast was put on there, and you went home. Look at the ER's today, look at all the different diagnostic equipment that was only a "dream" years ago. Now, the doctor and the hospital are compelled to use it on you to protect themselves from a "lawsuit."
Obama is taking time to "explain" what has happened and is happening, with his health insurance. Where did he acquire the expertise to talk about it? He never sold insurance, actually, he has never had a job, especially one that would enable him to discuss a subject he knows nothing about ........ NO, wait, he is a politician, he can talk and discuss for hours, a subject, any subject, that he knows nothing of...... Even the Columbus TV station has heard enough, they went back to normal programming. Verbal diarrhea, I wonder if Obama's health insurance, which is different than the one he is promoting now, covers that infliction.

There's a president guy you oughta meet
Sugar drips from his lips when he sighs
But the reality that lies
Within his baby eyes
How he lies, how he lies, how he lies
