It's Here - in Ohiio

 It had to happen sometime, the snow arrived here in Ohio this morning. Took Caleb for a walk in the SNOW. To celebrate the snow, Caleb, and he knows he is doing it, got the leash tangled three times. He will walk around a bush or a tree, knowing we are at an impasse, a standoff,and he will stop, turn, and stare at me with a ... "what now, sucker" look on his face. He only does this when he wants to, and this morning, he was celebrating, in his own way, the arrival of the snow.

Finding good "sniffing" spots was easy, disturbed snow meant another animal had been there, not a great deal of sniffing involved, just go to the spot, and the sniff is there.

I am ready for Spring. Our 49th anniversary passed with not too much fanfare, Shrimp cocktail, cooked some nice steaks, outside on my little gas grill, good meal. Now, going to try to make it to 50. Need my eye worked on, cataract in the left eye, have had the right one worked on a few years ago, not much to it, not as bad as a dentist, just the "chicken" coming out of me. By the time I arrived at his office for my last cataract surgery by BP was 200 over 100. He would not work on me till he got the BP down. I worry a lot.

I remember last year, the first snow, I vowed I would be in Florida or Arizona .... next year, well, here it is again. Have to leave now, get that snow off of Marilyn's car and get it warming up, Ho, Ho, Ho. Just heard on the news, that the Leaning Tower of Pisa is not leaning as much as it used to.
