Build it ..... and they will come .....

I receive, with interest, every day, emails, on who the Republicans will run in 2016. They actually seem optimistic. Got one the other day. "Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus (who I think makes about $235,000 a year) just announced the party's strategy to win elections and build the party." And after that,  "let's build a Pyramid, just like the one in Egypt."

Maybe someone in the party should learn how to play the game better:

Number of States won by: Obama: 19 Romney: 29
Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 Romney: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million Romney: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 Romney: 2.1
Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in
St. Paul, Minnesota believes the United States is now somewhere between the
"complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of
democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population
already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million
criminal invaders called illegals - and they vote -
then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

I am personally of the opinion that either Obama will (by then, legally) run for a Third term, or may have the wheels in motion to eliminate the need to run and just stay in office ......  until?

I am trying to come with an incident or an occasion where such optimism was ever warranted. Maybe George Armstrong Custer, sword in one hand, pistol in the other, surrounded by Indians, stating, "Hey, we've got this one in the bag."

Thanks to James Madison for some of this information.
