One more comment ... concussion contributors

I have wondered WHY, does some football coach, somewhere, at any and all levels, not FORBID, before the game, during the game and after the game .... HEAD BUTTING, HELMET SLAPPING and any celebration that could lead to a head injury. There is so much concern about head injuries, yet helmet "slapping" goes on after every play, "butting helmets" is prevalent.

Think of all those "unnecessary" jolts to the head that one takes in a "football" lifetime, not even including the tackles and other contact.

I remember the day when whatever a player did, was expected of him. A "touchdown" was the result of taking the ball over the goal line, a player was expected to do it, and even acted like he had "done it before" and not for the first time in his career. Dancing was saved for the post game dance at the frat house.

I have to wonder also, what injuries must have occurred after a play, and two players, on the same team, run at each other at full speed, jump as high as they can, and crash their bodies together, in celebration  of a touchdown or a great play. Why not save all that energy for the game ... "Hey coach, take me out, I'm awfull tired."

He should be he has been dancing, jumping, butting heads, slapping helmets, and then he hears the voice of his coach .... "You haven't even been in the game yet." ...... "Oh, yea, but we be doin good, huh?"
