Some rain, cooled down a little, just sitting here looking out the front window and the evening gradually closing in. Somehow I always feel like we have to do something, "Gee, it's Saturday night." Cleaning on Saturday morning goes back a long way. Afternoon has evolved in to watching sports on TV. Did some British Open today, now that Tiger is at the top will probably watch tomorrow. Also saw some Softball, ladies fast pitch, some Track and Field.
Fixed spaghetti for dinner, really pretty good. I had some pork left over from last night, cut it up and did a number on it in my little processor thing, $3 at Goodwill, use it all the time. Anyway put it in the pot, browned a little, then a can of mushrooms, garlic and some Walmart spaghetti sauce, Italian seasoning, let it simmer for a couple of hours. Turned out to be an excellent sauce. Did half Linguini and half Spaghetti really liked it. We sat and ate in front of the TV. I now have to put some "stain out" on my white golf shirt, and get it in the wash. Much of what I eat, now, gets on my shirt front. Caleb, our dog, tried his best, but it was too much for him.
I am running out of one of the pills I take. To get it refilled I have to see my Doctor, who is old, and I have never seen, he is the one who saw my son in law, diagnosed his problem as asthma, turned out he had a collapsed lung. He has been "practicing" for almost 50 years. I go see him, do blood work, etc., and then get it refilled. I don't want to see him. We were given a list of alternate doctors when ours left. So, we called up another doctor and got an appointment with him ..... in mid-October. So I have to do without the pill till then. Can you spell ....... "extortion?" It was a cholesterol pill, any suggestions?
