Just wondering

Another example, "Love is News"  (1937) ... Tyrone Power, Loretta Young and Don Ameche.

Loretta Young is driving a convertible, Ameche is following her. WHY, and it always happens .... does she turn her head around to see Ameche chasing her, why not just look in the rear view mirror or the mirror on the side of the door.

Everyone always turns their head. Even in a high speed chase, they take their eyes off the road and turn around, I've always wondered why. I never have.

Another one, why did "Bad Guys" always have slower horses than "Good Guys?" The Lone Ranger and Gene Autry and Roy and all the other good guys were always able to overtake the bad guys, jump, and knock them off of their horse.

If I robbed a Wells Fargo office and had all that money I would head to the nearest Livery Stable and ask for the fastest horse around. If I had to I would ride all the way to Dodge City or wherever, but I want the fastest horse in the county, or state, or whatever.
