I imagine that however the verdict had come in, we would be seeing the same idiotic results. In this case we have blacks versus Latinos, so someone was going to rebel at the verdict. Good "voter block" either way, fodder for politicians.

I did not follow the trial closely. I OD'd on OJ, and have not been "glued" to any trial since. A trial in Texas had similar tones to it ..... A jury has convicted a Texas man for murdering his neighbor during a confrontation over loud music two years ago, rejecting a claim that he was within his rights to fatally shoot the man under Texas' version of a "stand-your-ground" law. Raul Rodriguez, 47, faces up to life in prison for the killing of Kelly Danaher, 36. Sentencing is scheduled to begin today. "I'm just glad he can't hurt anybody else," Danaher's wife, Mindy, said. "I love my husband, and I miss him so much ... and he helped all of us get through this today." It took the jury less than six hours Wednesday to decide between self-defense and murder. Jurors, apparently agreeing with prosecutors that Rodriguez, a retired Houston-area firefighter, was a trigger-happy neighborhood bully.
It is a good opportunity, especially for politicians, who have become the scum of the earth, to take sides and get their names on the TV and on the internet .... newspapers don't count anymore. The jury spoke, that is the way our system works, PERIOD. In my view it is completely and totally irresponsible, and an insult to our judicial system, to in any way, question the verdict.
After a football game, one team won, won and done. "If he," "if they," "if only," ..... but the score stands. Rehash the game, yes, but the outcome is never changed.
"Reasonable doubt," remember old Ben saying that, many times, have heard Perry say it often, create that "reasonable doubt" and it is over. Is Zimmerman a FREE MAN? I know I don't want to be standing next to him, ever ................
