I wish someone could explain to me, the top logo

It says .......... B then a 1 which is a ONE and then a G

BONEG

What does that mean

I have tried to get in touch with the league office, no response from them

The bottom one says what it says .... Big Ten

But, the use the top one with says

B one G

????????????Does anyone know the meaning?????????????
