Hey, it's eight!!!!!!!!

HOW does Caleb, our dog, know about telling time, and can start in on his "program" every monring, that is designed to get me out of bed, at 8:00.

He sits by the bed, by me, and starts a "whininng" program a few minutes till. He seems to know the exact lead time for his whinning.

This morning, Sunday, a nice mornning to sleep in. But no, when I woke up, looked at my clock radio, there it was .............. 8:00.

He makes sure I get up. As soon as my feet start off the bed, he is there to paw at them a little.

Then I sit on the side of the bed, and he stares at me, he is making sure that I don't lay down again.

When I stand up, he knows he has won, he jumps up on the bed, stretches out where I once was, and goes to sleep. And, I swear, he has a smile on his face.
