That's ex tor tion ... or more money for the hospital

Nurse - Hello, Doctors Office (owned by the hospital)
Patient - I would like to get my prescription refilled.
Nurse - Just a moment, please, can't do that, Doctor will have to see you, next Wednesday alright with you?
Patient - I guess.
Nurse - Doctor will see you now.
Doctor - And what's wrong today?
Patient - Nothing, I just want a prescription refilled.
Doctor- OK, but first, we need an $ MRI $, some $ lab work $, and a $ chest x-ray$. = $$$$$$$ (all work to be done at the ...... hospital, who also pays the doctor and the nurses)
