3/21/2014, 53 degrees here in Newark, Ohio, the sun is out, and I am sitting here, watching the Cubs and the Pirates on Opening Day. I am young again, living in the 40's and 50's, watching the game, and it is nice in Pittsburgh, so all is well. One problem, they are explaining how they can do a "replay" if needed. I could do without it.
It signifies more than just Opening Day, it the opening of a season, Spring and Summer. Hopefully, Winter is behind us and a whole new season to look forward to. Heavy snow a few days ago. Actually, yesterday afternoon I was sitting on the front porch, in the sun, and looked out next to my van, and there, was a pile of snow, the van kept it from getting any sun. Weather has a mind all of its own.
As of this moment, all is well, the world is good ..........
