Jerry Garrity Passes

Probably few of you will recognize this name, Jerry Garrity. I have never personally met him, internet correspondence only. I had posted on a Reno site, and heard from him. We had several nice, long, conversations on the telephone.

We talked about a couple of books on Reno, I received them in the mail in a few days. He called me up once just to see how all was going. He loved Reno and casino history.

He passed away on March 14. I only talked with him on the phone, but I feel a loss. We shared a love of Nevada history, casino lore, and the great time in Nevada history that is gone. The books he purchased and sent to me have taken on a new meaning.

The title I just posted, I realize, can also refer to a casino, dice, and a crap table. If one didn't want to throw the dice, he or she, passed ..... Jerry Garrity Passes
