Several people have been stabbed near Riverside Park on the Upper West Side.
The FDNY said four people were stabbed near West 73rd Street and Riverside Drive around 8 a.m. Their conditions were unknown.
There were also reports of a possible stabbing near Riverside Boulevard and West 63rd Street.
A witness told NBC 4 New York that she saw a crying woman holding a shirt to her neck who appeared to have been slashed in the throat. The woman was asking about a possible child victim who was injured.
Yellow crime scene tape cordoned off part of the park, including a stroller, as authorities searched for evidence.
The ages of the stabbing victims were not immediately released.
