MONDAY MORNING

Well, I watched the morning news .....OMG .... I wish I hadn't. Australia is on fire. Hurricanes someplace else. Congressmen are using their "slush" fun money for personal use. Old George Washington was probably the first to do it and I doubt that few have not abused it since. It was good for the news though.

The Navy, you ask, well, apparently they have been abusing where they park those big ships they have. I thought parking in New York was high, to park an aircraft carrier apparently is around a million dollars, unfortunately, they parked them were a "friend" got two million.

A bank got fined, I think, 13 billion. I don't know about them, I would have a hard time coming up with that amount. And, another bank is in line for an even bigger fine, "Bad Bank."

My wife starts her annual job today, taking phone orders for Harry and David. She likes it, it keeps her going, has done it for many years, changes our lives for a few months. I am letting her drive to work because driving is no longer my favorite thing. I have to get the Cataract in my left eye worked on. It is a simple and easy procedure, I am a chicken.

I am getting tired of hearing Debbie Boone sing "You Light Up My Life." That commercial is on continuously, all day. Playing now on the morning news. Just thought I would mention that.

Peyton Manning received a nice warm, standing ovation greeting when he returned to Indianapolis where he had been their quarterback a few years ago. He is now with Denver. Then, he got beat.

An alligator is trying to shop at Walmart somewhere in Florida, I imagine. They locked the door on him, tey don't lock them often. Wonder what he wanted.

Thanks to all, 1600 hits yesterday. Have a good week.
