Woman arrested on prostitution charge - advertised on the internet

-- Police have arrested a woman suspected of advertising prostitution services online, and committing the illegal acts inside her home. Investigators arrested Lisa Robinson after information provided by multiple sources resulted in the launching of an investigation into acts of prostitution that allegedly occurred inside her home at 2810 Chateau Circle.

Robinson, 40, advertised her services on the website, Backpage.com, and engaged in sexual contact with respondents inside her residence, according to investigators.

Police claim to have seized evidence indicative of prostitution during a search of Robinson's home. “It’s too close to home. Nothing like this has ever happened here,” neighbor Faye Shama said. “I worry about what else is going to happen.”

Anyone with information that may prove helpful to investigators is encouraged to contact the Upper Arlington Division of Police at 614-583-5160.

"Ah, hi, ah, I'd rather not give my name, but you guys are asking about .... well ..... ah .... Lisa, there in ..... ah ...... Upper Arlington ..... ah ...... well ... please don't tell my wife, but ah, well, we live in the same neighborhood, and, ah ............??????"
