Watching the news, storms, fires, war. It is beyond my comprehension to understand what is going on around the world ... hundreds of thousands are homeless, children are getting killed, they are showing scenes that are unconscionable. We are experiencing enough problems in this country without a war going on. I feel we have lost control of our own country.
A story about all these children in Florida, at a boys school, atrociously being abused and killed, 54 bodies are being found and trying to be identified. What is wrong, when did it all happen, how did it all happen.
I see the newsreel of all those thousands of people, walking, leaving their homes, no place to go, families with nothing but the clothes on their backs. just wondering, I just cannot conceive how this happens, and how, humanity, lets it happen.
The NCAA professionalized college sports today, the big conferences that have the money, will be able to purchase the best athletes ..... money, money, money. The cause, TV, and the billions awarded to the schools. The kids just want their share. Competitive athletics as we have known it, is gone. The best will keep getting better, there will be little to no competition, only the competition to be the best, which means they make the most money, which means they can get the best athletes. It is a sad day for college athletics. The deep pocket alumni will be having a field day. Where will it end? "Oh, hi, 9th grader and outstanding athlete, WE want you, how much you ask ....? Well $$$$$$$$$$$$$
With all that is happening in the world, today, I guess we should all just take .... one day at a time. Disasters of all kinds are just waiting to happen .... but TV just goes on and on ..................
