Everything needs a title ...

Been trying to think of something to come up with to put on my blog this morning. Newt's ex-wife is doing an interview sometime this week, I wonder if she will have anything good to say about him. What a great tactic, find a candidates ex-wife, nothing good will  come out of that. All ex wives who have something good to say about their ex-husbands, please stand up

Romney didn't win in Iowa, who cares. Sarah endorses Newt in South Carolina, another who cares. And, then I saw something on the news that rang a bell. School in Westerville, Ohio that is having to make cuts because a levy didn't get passed. Voters there said NO.

I wonder how many of those people will go to the new casino in Columbus when it opens, and lose their money.

Does anyone ever think about where the money comes from to support a casino, make payroll, pay all the utility bills, all the other bills?

ALL that money comes from people LOSING THEIR MONEY. Casinos only manufacture grief. (I speak from experience, I worked in Nevada in casinos for a number of years, as a dealer, box man, floor man, and managed a small casino. I worked in Reno, Lake Tahoe, Sparks, Elko, in a number of clubs.) Does the government support it? NO. Do the casino owners and operators spend their money to support it. NO. It comes from those home owners in Westerville, and around Central Ohio,  who would not spend a few more bucks to support their school system.

Just think how much money has to be lost, by taxpayers, to support the casino. Oh, no, they make their money on food, yea, right. My guess is that their food is a break even situation, with comps, etc.

We have a lottery in Ohio, now, casinos, bingo, a lot of wagering. If we have struck gold in Ohio by opening casinos, why are all those casinos around the country going belly-up.

We are in a sad state of affairs, when one solution to our problem involves people losing their money, in games of chance, where the odds are such, that you eventually lose.

You always hear, "Follow the money."
