I love a parade ..................

I enjoyed parades while at The Citadel, and we did quite a few of them. I forget the occasions, I just remember the pride in marching in one.

I lived during WWII and saw many parades and military formations during that time. I marched in a parade or two while in the Navy.

There is PRIDE in marching in a parade, you stand straighter, head a little higher, chest out a little more, the band playing, some songs make you stand a little taller.

I must admit, I enjoyed every parade I was in, pride, spirit, something about them ... in this case, the troops are home, a parade. Nice.
