Fantasy Politics

We have "Fantasy Football" and I guess the same in other sports. I have no idea how it works but it seems to be popular. How about a Fantasy Candidate game or a Fantasy Political Campaign program of some kind. Who would be your ideal candidate for President?

Maybe make up a candidate with qualities taken from a variety of choices. I guess I don't really know enough about earlier politicians to make up one. Where to start?

I would start with some of the qualities of Vince Lombardi. "Winning is the only thing." A good positive attitude to start out with. Mix with some of the humor of Will Rogers. The political "savvy" of Franklin D. Roosevelt, and the tenacity and ambition of his mother, Sarah.

The image of Ronald Reagan, we need a good "father" image, and he is the best that comes to mind. Teddy Roosevelt would be up there too, in image, as well as old George Washington, probably because we have seen him the most, being the oldest.

Should Bill Gates be in there, how about Trump? I imagine that there are some corporate "heads" that possess certain qualities that are critical to success, but are they honest?

Last, but not least, there must be someone out there that "we can look up to," have respect for. How about Arnold Palmer, I think he is an "honorable" man in his professional, business and personal life. Wouldn't it be nice to see a politician that could honestly respect and hold in high esteem.

Those are some of mine ............
