"Hey, how's it goin this morning."

Well I;m a little concerned about the Ebola thing, it has done some good though, we hear less and less about ISIS, and the weather and the fires, and well, a quake in California that may happen, and the upcoming elections and corruption in government, but, the good news, they are really promoting Halloween this year.

We used to take old clothes and cut them up, rub shoe polish on our faces, or go buy a cheap mask to go with it, a pirate, a farmer, maybe a witch, and we took a pumpkin, cut out a face, did that circular cut at the top for a lid, put a candle inside, sit it, and got that aroma of burning pumpkin, that, was Halloween. Now, Kroger's has a department loaded with stuff as does Walmart.

Speaking of Walmart, I guess their sales are down and they are trying to take steps to correct it. I will let them in on a secret .... this apples to our local store only, don't know about the others.

Take all those funky carts, filled with junk, out of the aisles so carts can be wheeled through the store, take all those skids of junk out of the aisles. Dollar General gives the appearance of an UPSCALE store in comparison to our Walmart. I have gone through flea markets, loaded with vendors, that afforded a nicer appearance than our Walmart. DON'T put all those OBSTACLES in the entrance to make it a crap shoot to even be able to enter the store, or stand for a long time, waiting for some "conversations" to end, just to be able to enter the store. OH, one other "suggestion." Why did you put all those registers in, when you only intended to open five of them, at five, when the store is packed with people in a rush to get home.

As I understand it, you have a computer system, second to only the Pentagon, and it is apparently unable to let this store know that it is going to be busy during that time of day. Kroger's has ALL of theirs open, with Baggers to help speed up the process. What does Walmart have ............. LINES,    l     o     n     g     lines of irritated customers. And then, another line ..... for some employee to check your sales slip before going out the door. I guess I have no problem with that, I have heard figures, astronomical figures of how much they lose through theft. Suggestion, go to automotive, they don't check the slips.

Our local Walmart looks like a flea market, cluttered aisles, junk items in carts ... I am big on "perception" and the perception emitted by our local store ..... discount, bargain, sales, junky, certainly not the impression it has generated in the past.

That, and those, are the reasons I have heard, and experienced on my frequent visits to Walmart. And, I have felt their attitude was .... "don't worry, our low prices will being them in, don't worry about appearance, long lines ..... they will come"...... apparently WRONG. Simple fix, SERVICE, appearance, CUSTOMER APPRECIATION..... many "flea market" have folded, so that may not be the way to go...

Walmart ............. think ................. Customer, appearance, service, we may be BIGGEST .... but not the BEST.....
