"Thank you, red truck."
Sunday, heading out to pick my wife up. At a nearby busy intersection, I had stopped for a red light, and noticed a lady, on busy, busy, 21st street, pushing her mid-sized car, trying to get it back to a less busy street. I was stopped at the light, an I doubt that I would have been gallant and helped her push, probably had a heart attack if I had.
But, a red pickup truck stopped in the turn lane, turned on his blinkers and got out and helped her push, and then I noticed a young boy, running, to help her.
Many cars passed during my stop at the light, many passed her, none stopped, just the red truck and that young boy. They probably will never see this, but I am glad that there are some, like them, still around.
I am sure she thanked them, but I wanted to add my thanks, also.
