The other side ..... of the house

Excuse the, well, I just found these in cleaning out some stuff, have not seen them in many years, brought back so many memories. You can get another look at how nice and big this house actually was.
The three windows at the back were the kitchen, the one above, a guest room. I thin the two top there were my brothers room, the two small ones my Mom and Dad's room.
You can see how big the fireplace was, and there was a gas one on the second floor.
Those steps in the back were put in after we moved. At one point it was a nursing home and that is when the steps were put in. All my other fotos are in scrapbooks, spread out every where, in New York, New Jersey and North Carolina.

I had forgotten we had such a big chimney. I think that other house was the Burians house, next door. They also had a front porch though, that's the one I remember. Stoney Guild, who worked in one of the factories, would get draft beer, in glass gallon jugs, from a corner beer joint, and sit out on his porch and pour the beer into a glass and drink. I saw it awe of him .... he drank ...... beer ...... it looked ... so sinfull, at the time ...Margy was his daughter, a little older than I, and, I think, often walked me to school and back .... I forget his wife's name.

Thanks for putting up with these "memories" of mine .................
