COINCIDENCE????

We had a tragedy yesterday, Stormy, our poodle of about ten years, passed away.

He was blind, and old, but had been getting around pretty well. He was loyal, and devoted to my wife, Marilyn. When she went through all her breast cancer ordeal, Stormy was right there with her, and seemed more devoted to her than ever. He seemed to sense the severity of the problem and offered his comfort and solace, when she was really sick. He was always by her side.

He took a turn for the worse yesterday, and my daughter, Melissa, who happened to be here, and Marilyn, rushed Stormy to the vet, but he passed away on the way there.

They took him out to our sons house, who lives in the country, to be buried.

Some twenty years ago, my Niece Jane was visiting, and wanted to see where her Grandma and Grandpa were buried. On the way to the old country cemetery, a small black kitten ran in front of our car, did not get hit, but Janie got out and picked the cat up to be sure it was alright.

We ended up taking the cat home, all black, so the name Magic. Magic was with us for many years, up until we moved in to the apartment we are in now, and the cat and the dog in the apartment was too much, so Melissa took Magic to her house, where she has been for the last 6 years.

I got a call from Melissa this morning, Magic died, yesterday, the same day as Stormy.

And the weather yesterday, stormy.

They will be buried, next to each other, out in the country, very close to where we found Magic, 20 some years ago.
