Anyone out there?

If anyone reads this, and has had, or knows someone who has had, by-pass, or open heart surgery, I would like to hear their comments on .... some recovery, recovery, full recovery, and the various time frames.

I had my surgery, Riverside in Columbus, Ohio, December 11, 2007, and I think I am pretty well recovered, but at times, something pops into my head, an incident or a situation, and I realize the incident/situation is different than it was a few weeks, or even a week ago.

I was "concerned" about driving, must admit, it frightened me at times, actually, it took me quite a while to just leave our apartment. Now, with the exception of long trips, they don't bother me.

There are other little incidents that occur where I realize I have changed.

Would love to hear any comments from those who have gone through this or a similar surgery.
