I have no way of knowing, but, there OBVIOUSLY is a question about Bowe Bergdahl. Desertion is a nasty word, especially in the Army, especially when life and limb are in question. Where there is smoke there is fire. Perhaps I have missed it, but I have not heard that word used in connection with others who were serving over there. There are questions, WHY would the Army not want them answered? Did the White House tell them to just "drop it!" The situation must be am embarrassment to the president. "We are happy and proud to say that we got the deserter released from captivity, and, in exchange for five terrorists."
The Army, the White House, Congress, always want "answers" .... why not this time?
As long as the question of his being a "deserter" exists, it is a travesty and an injustice to all those real heroes who have served, and to those who have given their lives.
It is apparent that he deserted, he indicated he was going to, why the doubt.
Not ONE person should welcome him as a hero as long as this question is not resolved.
