What is this worlds fixation with celebrities. A photo of a Kardashian, I really don't know much about them, or who they are, but a foto of one of them, doing something, had two and half million hits in a short time. What are people lacking in their diet, or is there some additive in their "soda" ... that makes them so lonely and so bored, that a foto, on line, can draw that much attention
What his name ... Beeber, or whatever, gets the same amount of attention.
I used to go see movies, with "movie stars" but they never drew that kind of attention ... millions of looks, at a picture of someone, really doing nothing.
We had favorite movie stars, in my days, I guess, Sinatra and "Bobby Sockers" and their "scenes" were probably the first .... "worshippers" ... and then Elvis, and a long line of Celebrities came along. And then, the internet, and more over, the growth of the internet, and the "personalization" that came with Facebook and Twitter, the intimacy of instant communication. I am on Facebook, with people I admire. I am a small part of their lives. I have even gotten replies from some of them.
And, I am a rank amateur at all of the ..... I don't even know what the generic term is for them, the Facebooks and all the others available to the world.
I guess Kim whatever her name is got the 2.5 millions hits, because she has that many "friends" ... she is more than a name to them, she shares many "moments" with them.
"I am heading to the super market, later." Millions of Facebook friends, etc., know that Kim is heading to the supermarket...
