Some have asked, so here it is, as good a BBQ sauce as there is, so simple, no cooking, no nothing, just mix together and enjoy. There are a few places around the country, restaurants, caterers and individuals that I have shared this with that swear by it. This is the sauce we mixed up almost daily when we had a restaurant. You can alter the quantities and mix to your own taste. I have won cookoffs with this recipe, good with ribs, chicken, or thin sliced roast beef and this sauce make a killer sandwich. I did an outing on one occasions, last minute thing, stopped and got thin sliced roast beef at a deli. Mixed in my DOO BE QUE sauce and served on good buns. One man did not like bbqbeef sandwiches ... he ate six of them.
This was: A Number 10 can of Heinz, a bottle of Wrights Liquid Smoke and a 2 lb bad of brown sugar, either dark or light. Mix all together, that is all there is to it. There is another brand of liquid smoke 3.5 oz. bottle. We called it DOO-BE-QUE Sauce, as you must also refer to it ... it's the law. It is like the tag on a pillow ... Under penalty of ............. Enjoy.
