Dennis Dunaway ... our son

How things can change in an instant. Yesterday afternoon, my wife's son, Dennis, who I consider a son, and Marty came over for a visit, nice chat, and they left.

Got a call from Marty a short time later .... irradic driving, wrong lane, wrong side of the rode, I had to drive the last few miles home .... he seems to have so paralysis in his left cheek ...

"Call 911, get him to the hospital, don't let him lie down." I have done blogs on, I think four things you should do in the event of a heart attack. I remembered one, after hanging up, ASPIRIN, I forgot the aspirin.

EVERYONE should copy those instructions and glue them to the phone, I am going to.

Anyway, aat the hospital, they could find nothing wrong, at first. Then we mentioned his face, etc., and they did a Cat-scan or whatever it is. Later on, I cam home, got a call, taking him to Columbus for more tests, could be a tumor of some sort, and, they were going  to send him home.

More tests this morning, a spot on his lung, swelling had gone down, doing some more tests today.

Just 2 hours ago, Dennis was sitting right here where I am, right now.

What a difference a day makes...

Apparently, he had a stoke, we are finding out today, they are still doing tests ... MY prognosis was right. My guess, some blockage, a bypass operation, single, double, etc., etc., and with any luck, after a while, he will be better than before. I think it may have been a minor stroke since it was so difficult to detect.
