Anyone believe this?

"OK, if it leaks out that I hit the lottery, I don't want the money"

"OK, if it leaks out that our home loan is approved, we won't buy the house."

"OK, if it leaks out that you approved our car loan, we are not going to take it."

"OK, if it leaks out that you are going to marry me, the marriage is off."

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Obama administration has told senators it didn't notify Congress about the pending swap of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl for five Taliban officials because the Taliban had threatened to kill him if the deal was made public before it happened. That's according to three congressional officials who spoke to The Associated Press.

The officials said Thursday that the threat — not just concerns that the captive's health might be failing —drove the Obama administration to quickly make a deal to rescue Bergdahl. The threat had been transmitted by Qatari officials at the height of the negotiations.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel was referring in part to the threat when he said Sunday that "there was a question about his safety," the officials told the senators in a closed-door briefing on Wednesday.

I find this statement very hard to swallow .... a flimsy one if there ever was, think about it, they are getting the deal of a lifetime, five valuable highly trained terrorists, for one meek, mealy mouth little deserter .... they had so much to lose ..... if it leaked out ..... like what. Maybe Dad wouldn't let them use the truck to transport him ..... be real ........... the only reason for this statement to be made by Obama .... nuff said ...... odd,  I searched "If it leaks out" ..... and up came ...well, you do it .... it has to do with ...... "getting screwed" so to speak.....
