Nothing wrong with a "hot" cook at a tailgate party, game, what game?
I have looked and cannot find it. Watching the Penn State, Michigan game. The blimp doing the game did an aerial shot of
"Happy Valley."
That is what football if all about.
Off in the distance, the mountains, surrounded by gorgeous colorful farmland, all of the cars, the stadium, THAT is what football is. It is not just a game, it is an event, a one of a kind occurrence. Football is more than a game, it is an event, more than a day, almost a week long, event. Football is pep rally's, bonfires, parades, tailgating, cooking, the aroma of smoke in the Fall air.
No other sport is surrounded by so much. That is why it is so popular, it is not just a game, it is so much more. Basketball, baseball, go to the game and go home. Football starts five or six days before the game. The tailgating and activities before the game, Fall, the air is cooler, the cookouts, brats, dogs, the aroma alone conjures up, football. Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. TV has attempted to extend the hours, but nothing is as exciting as a Saturday afternoon football game, a few hours of tailgating before the game, and then ................. the game.
Who won, who cares, it was a great day .................
That is why football is so popular .......... it is not a game, it is an event....
