I don't think I have posted this ... happened today .....

I googled "obese" ... there were plenty to choose from, but, not going to use any picture here.

It was  survey time today, spent a little over an hour sitting in the foyer of our local hospital, while I waited for my wife to get her monthly appointment over with. I sit and wait, get a coffee and a muffin at the Starbucks. My monthly treat, and a plethora of material for my blog.

Obesity is the number one problem of hospital visitors, and, I might add, a problem with many of the hospitals employees. Nurses seem to be alright, but other workers may have a problem. Some of those who came in were well over being obese.

Sneakers or tennis shoes, or whatever they are called now, are the Number One footwear, still a few "Flipflops" and some, very colorful Swoosh type footwear.

If I had money to invest, in this order, food, shoes and tattoos. Maybe a national chain of tattoo parlors, combo shots, hair, nails and tats, have to work on a name for that.

Maybe this was the day for their "Obese Clinic" at the hospital, not sure if they have one, but they should.

I still remember the day that I was taken to Emergency, possible heart, went right through "Triage," in to a cubicle, a lot of concern, hooked up the EKG, IV and all the other stuff, needed a quick X-ray. Waited  a little while, still a lot of consternation, and from my room I could look down the corridor. There came X-ray, a VERY large young lady, walking in  s  l  o  w    m   o   t   i   o   n    pushing that possible life saving machine. We all started laughing, I knew I would get better.

Don't forget, food, shoes and tats, in that order, that's where the money is.
