The Cupertino firm edged out rival tech giant Google to top the list, pushing Coca-Cola - which has held the title for the last 13 years running - into third place.
Interbrand ranks each brand based on a number of factors, including the financial performance of its products, the role they play in influencing consumer choice, and the potential they have to secure earnings for the company.
Several other tech companies featured in the list, with HP, IBM, Microsoft, Samsung and Intel all making the top 20.
Apple's brand value was estimated to be $98.3 billion (£60bn).
