We ate out last night, came home, and had a phone call from this number. They left a "weird" message about the call, not about who it was from, however. Looked it up, here are some of the posts:
Recorded voice stated this was a call from a correctional institution. Call came through at midnight
Got this call from this number and it was from the local police department and sure enough my son was being held under arrest
I just got this call on my cell phone and it was from the Tarrant County, Texas, jail. Do not accept any calls from this number. For a one-time fee of $9.99, it says you can accept the call. I'm sure you have no business talking to an inmate.
This is a scam to charge your cell phones bill $9.99 per month...do not except the call or fall for it

My boyfriend is in jail and this is the number he has to call from in order to talk to me ! and yea it does charge you money but when you are talking to a friend or family member it is worth it ! and it is once per month and that is not a lot at all ! if the number calls you then answer it, it could be one of your friends of family members on the other line waiting to talk to you but you don't even answer the phone !
