Brothers Andreas Gonos, 28, Chris Gonos, 32, and Kyriakos “Kouly” Gonos, 30, each pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to structure financial transactions to evade filing currency transaction reports.
Federal prosecutors said the men made cash deposits of just under $10,000 from the family businesses -- two Dianna’s Deli restaurants, both in Sandusky, and Dianna’s in Port Clinton -- on multiple occasions between 2007 and 2009 to avoid having to report the cash income.
They each face up to five years in prison when they are sentenced Feb. 11 by Judge Jeffrey Helmick.
Also facing charges in the case are their parents, Haralambos Gonos and Sofia Skoura.
