Just a lucky coincidence

I really don't think that professional sports is fixed. I realize how powerful the television networks are, and that they are heavily involved in televising professional sports, and a great deal of their income is derived from TV. Yes, I have seen that guy with the red sleeve on his arm, and yes, I know he lets them know when to play their games, and in some respects, dictates the games.

It was a coincidence that many weeks ago I mentioned that it would be a great thing for TV, if the Super Bowl ended up with a "battle" of brothers. It will be lost, which two teams are playing, just a lot of ink on how the "always competitive" Harbaugh brothers are at it again. How great is that. It might even over shadow who the half time entertainer is going to be. All the many, endless, hours of hearing those "experts" (actually retired players who majored in basket weaving and unemployed coaches) talk incessantly about the upcoming game.

We will see photographs of the boys when they were young, hear all about their history as they were growing up, interviews with their parents,  friends, relatives probably remotes from Toledo, California and Ann Arbor, interviews of teammates from college, and, as it is now called, the Harbowl.

I'm sure the dream scenario is a coincidence, there is no way the games could have been slanted, just to oblige television and give them an opportunity for a many million, or perhaps a billion dollar payday.

I did watch the playoff games, and I admit there was some great play by some and mediocre play by others who generally played better. No way the outcome could have been scripted, no way? Some greats justt have bad days, and some unknowns play better, it just happens that way, I'm sure.
