Every Republican running for office in this year’s midterm election and the few considering a run for president in 2016 need to be quoting Hillary Clinton’s attack on the Second Amendment.
Speaking at the National Council for Behavioral Health Conference, Hillary Clinton told the audience:
“I think again we’re way out of balance.
We've got to rein in what has become almost an article of faith
that almost anybody can have a gun anywhere at any time.
And I don’t believe that is in the best interest of the vast majority of people.”…
Speaking about new guns laws being passed that allow legal gun owners to carry guns in churches, bars and other public places, Clinton told the audience:
“At the rate we’re going, we’re going to have so many people with guns,
in settings where …
[they] decide they have a perfect right to defend themselves against the gum chewer
or the cell-phone talker.”
Clinton even talked about suicides, giving the strong impression that if people didn't have guns that they wouldn't kill themselves. That idea is so ridiculous. What about the growing number of people that commit suicide using pills or even poison?
