Hillary swats aside Obama, says George W. Bush made her ‘proud to be American’

I accused Hillary of being "wishy washy" about a comment she made. NO, I am "wishy washy" publishing this blatantly clever political move she made in this statement. Well, maybe not "wishy washy" ... just a good, really good, politician, give credit where credit is due. Good move, I have moved a few steps closer to liking her. We share something in common, we both like George Bush, so she can't be all bad.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton raised eyebrows on CNN by claiming that former President George W. Bush actually brought out her patriotism and made her proud of her American roots.

She also seemed to take a pot shot at President Obama’s foreign affairs policies during an interview on the “Fareed Zakaria GPS” show on CNN.

“We have to go back out and sell ourselves. It is not to be taken for granted. What do we stand for and how do we intend to lead and manage? How do we try to enlist the rest of the world in this struggle between cooperation and order and conflict and disorder which is really at the root of so much that’s going on today — and I don’t think we’ve done a very good job of that.”

Mrs. Clinton went on, discussing the differences between headline news and actual trends — appearing to suggest that it was Mr. Bush, and not Mr. Obama, who had a long-term view of the international stage.

“Of course, there are specifics,” she said, Breitbart reported. “They’re all the headlines we can talk about.

“But the trend lines, let’s not forget the trend lines. George W. Bush is very popular in Sub-Saharan Africa. Why? Because of the president’s emergency program for AIDS relief. Whether you agree or disagree with a lot of what else he did — and I disagree with a lot of it — I am proud to be an American when I go to Sub-Saharan Africa and people say, ‘I want to thank President Bush and the United States for helping us fight HIV/AIDS.’”

She then seemed to take another jab at Mr. Obama’s White House, saying that America spends a “lot of money and a lot of time and effort” to exert influence around the world.

But “I think we would be able to succeed more effectively if we were clearer about who we are and what we stand for and the values that we hold,” she added during the CNN interview.

Fox News analysts suggested Mrs. Clinton was likely being genuine in her pro-Bush views, but that she was also as likely to be trying to distance herself from Mr. Obama and his foreign affairs policies in case she decides to run for the presidency for 2016.

Anyone else frustrated, more, still?

We trade a deserter for five PROVEN terrorists, which WILL come back to haunt us, I'm afraid, and whose idea was it .... apparently the president. They are trying to bury or confuse it in lies,  innuendos and silence. Apparently there is positive evidence of his desertion, to his family and his friends, there apparently those who never doubted his intention, they are being silenced. His own home town is reluctant to welcome him home. It would be a travesty if they did, and they know it.

Hillary has the bold faced audacity to try to silence those who want the truth. And what is worse, there are those who think that those qualities would make her qualified to lead this country. "Screw up and lie." Maybe that is a desirable quality in our leader, anymore. Why would somebody not want something explored? Because they don't want the truth to come out. If anyone has vast experience in that field, it is Hillary. "He did what, she did what, where, I don't believe it, no way." The disheartening part of this is that our leaders cannot accept responsibility for their actions, at all levels of government. How can ANYONE make the statement, "I don't want the truth to come out ..... ah ...... you ...... ah ...... are ...... ah ..... trying to make me look bad ..... ah ..... political ......  ah ..... let's go ... I wanna run for president and this could embarrass me, can't you see that?" Hillary Clinton was personally and intensely involved in the debate over swapping five Taliban commanders for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl in 2011 and 2012. But she had severe reservations about the potential deal, and demanded stricter conditions for the release of the prisoners than what President Obama settled for last week.

A great country, we used to be, some, in power, still think we are and I must admit it is a source of embarrassment to me when they proclaim that we still are, and act that we. They are living in their own world, in the past. Oh, that's right, they are politicians.

Too Many People Have Guns – Gun Laws Must be Reined in Says Hillary

Every Republican running for office in this year’s midterm election and the few considering a run for president in 2016 need to be quoting Hillary Clinton’s attack on the Second Amendment.

Speaking at the National Council for Behavioral Health Conference, Hillary Clinton told the audience:

“I think again we’re way out of balance.
We've got to rein in what has become almost an article of faith
that almost anybody can have a gun anywhere at any time.
And I don’t believe that is in the best interest of the vast majority of people.”…

Speaking about new guns laws being passed that allow legal gun owners to carry guns in churches, bars and other public places, Clinton told the audience:

“At the rate we’re going, we’re going to have so many people with guns,
in settings where …
[they] decide they have a perfect right to defend themselves against the gum chewer
or the cell-phone talker.”

Clinton even talked about suicides, giving the strong impression that if people didn't have guns that they wouldn't kill themselves. That idea is so ridiculous. What about the growing number of people that commit suicide using pills or even poison?

Hillary Clinton Now Handing Out Awards Named After Herself

The President of Georgia honored Hilary with the Order of the Golden Fleece.

The American Bar Association had already given Hillary its highest honor for “her immense accomplishments as a lawyer”.

The National Constitution Center awarded her the Liberty Medal (an honor she shares with such Constitutional scholars as Bono, Hamid Karzai and her husband).

Hillary received the American Patriot Award at the National Defense University Foundation and the Hermandad Award from the Mexican American Leadership Initiative.

Considering that Hillary Clinton is as much of an American patriot as is she is a Mexican-American leader… both awards seem equally deserved.

But Hillary isn’t just a taker, she’s also a giver. And so she’s giving out awards… with typical modesty, named after herself.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton presented Georgetown’s annual Hillary Rodham Clinton Awards for Advancing Women in Peace and Security.

Hillary has a blood clot

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton was admitted to a New York hospital on Sunday with a blood clot.

The State Department said the discovery of the clot stemmed from her treatment for a concussion she sustained earlier this month and was discovered during a follow-up exam Sunday.

According to Philippe Reines, a deputy assistant secretary at State, Clinton is being treated with blood thinners at New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he said she would spend the next 48 hours as doctors kept evaluating her.

"They will determine if any further action is required," Reines said. Clinton suffered a concussion earlier this month when she fainted following a bout of flu.

Details of her blood clot Sunday weren't made public, but brain injury doctors told NBC News that she may have developed a clot, perhaps a deep vein thrombosis, in her lower limbs from prolonged rest after her injury.

Such a clot would be dangerous but not necessarily life-threatening, although it is also possible Clinton could have a clot elsewhere.

You just gotta be kidding, and no one is saying anything?

I find it rather strange ..........

Old Hillary finds out that her husband, old Bill, is having extra-marital sex with Monica Lewinsky in the Oval Office, takes it in, stride and nothing happens.

Now, she finds out she has to testify before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on the deadly attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya and she faints and suffers a concussion.

She is being monitored by doctors and is recovering at home. She was never hospitalized. At someones recommendation, she will continue to work from home next week, staying in regular contact with Department and other officials. She is looking forward to being back in the office and returning to work after the meetings are over,, whenever that is.

He asked?

"If you know so much, who is going to be the next president of the United State, assuming there is another election?"

Simple, Hillary Clinton.

I see no one who could compete with her. All the endorsements she will get, plus, Bill, Barack, Michelle and all their other "power" hitters. If her name rises to the top, I doubt there is a Republican "sacrificial lamb" who would want to run against her. We may never see another Republican president for many years to come.

And now you know the rest of the story.

Monica, Monica

Protesters threw tomatoes and shoes at Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's motorcade on Sunday during her first visit to Egypt since the election of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi. A tomato struck an Egyptian official in the face, and shoes and a water bottle landed near the armored cars carrying Clinton's delegation in the port city of Alexandria.

A senior state department official said that neither Clinton nor her vehicle, which were around the corner from the incident, were struck by any of the projectiles. Protesters chanted: "Monica, Monica", a reference to Former President Bill Clinton's extra-marital affair. Some chanted: "leave, Clinton", Egyptian security officials said.

It was not clear who the protesters were or what political affiliations they had. Protesters outside Clinton's hotel on Saturday night chanted anti-Islamist slogans, accusing the United States of backing the Muslim Brotherhood's rise to power. The assault on her motorcade came on a day Clinton spoke at the newly re-opened US consulate in Alexandria, addressing accusations the United States, which had long supported former President Hosni Mubarak, of backing one faction or another in Egypt following his ouster last year.

Weiner admits exposing weiner

Anthony David Weiner (pronounced /ˈwiːnər/; born September 4, 1964) is the U.S. Representative for New York's 9th congressional district, serving since 1999. He is a member of the Democratic Party.

The district includes parts of southern Brooklyn and south and central Queens. In Queens, it includes the neighborhoods of Forest Hills, Maspeth, Fresh Meadows, Glendale, Howard Beach, Kew Gardens, Kew Gardens Hills, Middle Village, Ozone Park, Rego Park, Rockaway Beach, and Woodhaven. In Brooklyn, it includes the neighborhoods Gerritsen Beach, Marine Park, Midwood, Mill Basin, and Sheepshead Bay.

In the 1998 U.S. House election, Weiner ran against Republican Louis Telano for the seat being vacated by Charles Schumer, who was running for the Senate seat held by Al D'Amato. Weiner defeated Telano by a margin of 66%–23%. He was re-elected in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010 never receiving less than 59% of the vote.[2] In the House, he is a member of the Committee on Energy and Commerce. He was an unsuccessful candidate for Mayor of New York City in the 2005 Mayoral election. Weiner graduated from State University of New York at Plattsburgh (SUNY), was an aide to former U.S. Representative Schumer (1985–91), and was a member of the New York City Council (1992–98).

Oh, incidentally, he recently admitted sending a photo of his bulging underwear to a female Twitter follower and says he has had inappropriate conversations with as many as six women on Facebook and Twitter over the past three years.

During a tearful news conference on Monday, Weiner apologized to his wife, family, constituents and friends, and said he is "deeply ashamed" but does not plan to resign.

"I came here to accept the full responsibility for what I have done," he said.

The 46-year-old Democrat, who was first elected to Congress in 1998, said he has never met any of the women he corresponded with. He said his wife, longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, knew about previous relationships he had before they were married last year, but only found out on Monday morning that he sent the groin photo.

Weiner problems seem to plague Hillary. If he does resign he intends to go to work for Oscar Meyer, he was quoted as saying, "I'm a natural for that job." He is obiously proud of his weiner.................. heritage. The press is having a "Weiner Roast."
