First, I don't know why it is happening now. My guess is that this same thing has been happening for many years, as any "seller" of sports memorabilia can tell you.
THEY knew what they were doing was against the rules and did it anyway. I don't know anything about Pryor's home life or family, but my guess is that some sports agent somewhere sees a future for old Tyrelle and is taking care of his family, just in the hopes of representing him some day. If his family is so destitute he should drop out of school and take care of them, a good son would do that, so I don't sympathize in any way with his family "situation," my guess is she has a new car, new clothes and is pretty well off.
The Athletic Director at Ohio State should be fired for NOT DOING HIS JOB. He is too busy spending all that money he makes.
If Tress was any kind of a man or coach, he would suspend them from this bowl game. It happened this season, not next season. If he doesn't, he is a spineless wimp and is only concerned about the outrageous salary he makes. If he was really any kind of a man he would defend his athletes and what they did to the NCAA.
My guess is he is taking some of those pills that Woody used to take to calm his nerves, his program is in disarray and he knows it, this isn't good for recruiting and salvaging his million a year plus job. He makes more than old Gordon Gee, University President, something just is wrong with that.
Remember, the early part of the season this year, all that Heisman talk associated with Pryor, then they played Wisconsin......................
