Are there any people leaving this country and going abroad to get those overseas jobs? If all of the jobs are going overseas, makes sense to me to go over there and get one.
Many of our good jobs are going to people who come to this country, get an education here, often payed by our government, then get a good job, become a citizen, and stay here.
Can this be done in other countries? Probably not.
We are probably the only country that is that benevolent.
I remember the day when you were stopped entering some states, primarily to look for food items you might have in the car, those borders are down. How long before our Southern and Northern borders no longer exist. It would eliminate the immigration problem.
Nothing is like it was, "back then," so more changes coming up don't come as a surprise.
Just look at all of those we have in public office today, not too many years ago they would have had a hard time entering the country, let alone run for office, get elected and make our rules and laws, get paid huge salaries, and have a retirement program, second to none.
I guess it's progress, I know it is change.
