"Hey, Kevin, look the pond is frozen over, see that one area out there, I bet I can slide this rock closer to it than you can throw that one." And, that is how it all began. There is certainly a lot of "finesse" to it though, and the crowd really gets in to it at times.
I remember that bowling was big up in Oregon. Cold and rainy in the Winter nothing to do, so they go bowling. Makes sense that in a cold environment, with lots of ice, Curling.
I am watching the men, but I must admit, I much prefer watching the women, Curling that is. It is a bit of a letdown, been watching Ice Hockey.
