Well, the sun is out and shining on piles of white snow, surrounded by pools of dirty water. The good news is, the snow is melting, the bad news, we are expecting floods. It never ends.
Watching Curling, again, I have never seen anyone slip and fall, they are walking on ice, they glide over it. I have been inquiring around town here in Newark, Ohio, where can I go to enroll in a Curling League and learn more about it. I have listened, written down addresses, and ended up in seven beauty shops. I am beginning to think we don't do "Curling" here. One of those curling stones just hit another one of a different color, some other ones got knocked out and the crowd let out a loud cheer. I don't really understand Hockey, either, that Blue line thing. The net thing I understand, and even then, sometimes, if the net moves, no score.
I must admit also, I am looking at a list of Winter Olympic Events, and most of them I have never heard of. I did see a list of how many "millionaires" are on the US Olympic team, five, I think it was. I guess the "amateur" thing doesn't apply anymore.
I have read the morning news, not much there. Oh, that was a good shot, the yellow one came down and knocked a red one off of the thing and everyone cheered, one heck of a shot, I guess ......................
